For everyone who doesn’t know already, I have a destroyed left knee. Most of the cartilage has been stripped out. This leads to a lot of bone on bone grinding when I walk and the occasional slipping of my knee out of the socket. To add to the problem, I am massively obese and barely use that knee, so the muscles around it are not strong enough to hold it into place. One of my main goals with this healthier lifestyle is to strengthen my knee and reduce my weight so it is not as stressed. Here are some x-rays from February 2014 showing the damage.
Unfortunately as a result of my favoring that knee, I have also begun damaging my left ankle. Here are some images of that damage from the same date.
